Amount of Weapons
I only have a single icy longsword of fortitude, so i pretty much go with the same build for everything i do in PVE. I know most of you guys switch up your builds everyone now and then or use different builds depending ont he situation, so i was wondering how you guys get the weapons to suit all the different builds.
Should I buy mutliple green weapons for axes, swords and hammers?
or should I buy one of each kind of weapon and salvage or overwrite the handles and pommels each time i want to run a different build?
or do i buy lots of swords, axes, hammers with each one of them with different prefixes like icy, fiery, sundering, vampiric, etc, and all them of them with their own max fortitude mods.
Also, what if someone had a favourite skin, would they hav to buy lots of the same kind of weapon? wouldn' that be hard to find?
So basically i just want to know the best way to suit my needs for diffeerent builds and if sometimes i just want a specific weapon skin, ty

Skins mean nothing in this game. I use collector items, on my Warrior I have 12 Weapons - if you really feel the need to have the same skin, just get R13s. :\
Axe and Sword:
Shocking
Zealous
Vampiric
Hammer and Scythe:
Shocking
Zealous
Sundering

you can buy many weapons from people in-game. but like lynrd said skin doesnt matter, it doesn't affect the game or your damage, it just looks flashier. Collector weapons are awesome, they dont cost any money cept for a few farmable items.
Me, I bought most of my weapons. I got like 7 swords and 1 hammer and 1 axe. But i buy mine mega-cheap cuz well im cheap :P
but just get a sword a hammer and a axe so you can run any build.

i got close to 30 different bows for my ranger, but what a weapon looks like has nothing to do with how well its used. a lightsaber and a toothpick(neither exist
EDIT: in the game ) can do the same amount of damage with this game's mechanics

If you don't have craploads of cash so just find something that works well (a weapon with vamp, 15^50, fortitude mods). You can beat the game with a white non-max weapon, so the above generic weapon is fine. If you plan on using a conjure, get one with an elemental hilt instead.
If you wanted to have the optimal weapon and shield for every situation, you'd probably be carrying 20 items with you at all times. Take a generic weapon and go tbh; specialise later when you need to.

What Marty said. I used mostly endgame greens until I built up a collection of gold skins I liked. Which were then specced exactly like the greens I had been using.

When I first started I used whatever the best weapon was at that exact moment in time for the lowest cost, be it a drop, a collector weapon, or one that my guildmates got for me.
Now, I have enough equipment for my Warrior that I take up a full page in my Xunlai Storage for him, with a few of his things being used on his Heroes as well.
As per usual, Marty = QFT, he knows his shit.

For a warrior id probably say go for Elemental (same reason as Marty stated), Vampiric (Improved DPS and the life stealing more than makes up for the -1 degen if youre wondering), Zealous (for general use... farming for me), Sundering (isnt that great but is easily obtainable via. a green i.e. Victo's Axe, Deldrimor Axe, Murakais Reaver etc.)...*isnt that great because its only a 20% chance of armour penetration but its still good to have around.

I have a storage box full of weapons for my warrior, some even have the same stats, I just pick skins I like. Also with 7 sets of armour you need different skins to go with each ^^.

*edit to apply more to the OP*
Yeah conjure is really the only build that will require a weapon to have a certain prefix, and most other builds will run fine with an elemental mod.

Since the look of the weapon doesn't affect how powerful it is, just get any maximum damage weapon with Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%) or an inscription slot. You could buy gold weapons like this for cheap from other players.

Also, since you are a warrior, if you get a 15% stance before 15>50, you can use that as well since you are going to be in a stance most of the time.
And I'm not going to leave any advice on what you should keep because I have way too many weapons for my warrior.

QFT
I only have 2 Armor sets at the moment. My Droks Gladiator 1.5k which is set up for my UW Solo farming, and my Elite Kurzick which is set up to run any skillset by swapping the Helm for different weapons, as well as a Helm/Glove swap for running.
Still, I have found that I like different weapons for each of my armor sets. Full aesthetic appeal, however, comes when one can afford such. Until then, Collector equipment should do you just fine. Thank the gods for the Hide Helm > All the Time option.

Depends what your favourite skin is. If it were a Greater Sage Blade - you could easily get loads of them by yelling WTB in Rata Sum during a Raptor Slaughter Weekend. On the other hand, if it were a Crested Machete - you'd have a hard time getting them because people merch them when and if they drop.
My favourite is the Long Sword. Has been since day one. Also, I like the furious mod. I mean - FURIOUS! And LONG!

That would turn out to be a very costly and very time consuming way to do things.

Simple for me, my favorite skin is the one from BMP so it is easier to get multiple copies of it. Getting the mods that you want take some time though. As for space, let your heroes hold them until you need them.

Again you pop up here in the Warrior Forum (3rd post I've seen from you tonight in rapid succession) spouting very, VERY bad advice.
While most green weapons have max mods/bonuses (except for the starter greens found on Shing Jea Island/in Istan), they are FAR from the most efficient pairings of such mods/bonuses.
The sheer number of 20/20 sundering greens makes my head F'ing HURT, as do the amount of -5/20% green shields, and the +30/+30 and 20e staffs for casters. WTF!?!?!
They might be decent right now, due to the fact that many greens are DIRT CHEAP (go figure, they're all the same weapon with a different skin, bleh), but I'd still rather just spend my gold one time to get the mod I need, rather than buy a crap green so that I can save up to get something else.
Use the best weapon you can find until you find better mods on your drops. Far more efficient use of cash and time, tbh.

This is how I do it. Undead weapons FTW. But it never took me that long to get the mods for the weapons... I either had something on an existing weapon that was easily salvageable (I don't go for the Rarer skins... waste of my cash, imho, as they do nothing better than any other skins...) to use, or I just checked the WTS'ing in Trade Chat anytime I hit a city. All the money saved from not buying tons of unneeded weapons went where it needed to - outfitting the weapons I LIKE with the mods I needed.

I hope We Dont Accept has really been banned, coz hes popping up all over the shop with bad enlgish and retarded advice, and rezing old threads 2 lol.
At OP, I have 4 weapons for each type, 1x furious, 1x vampiric, 1x zealous, 1x elemental. Axe I have a sundering for some funky spike builds, or when im too lazy to swap.
